Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and evaluate laboratory personnel to ensure effective team performance.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality control measures to maintain accreditation and licensure.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address them.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the laboratory.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, health care administration, or related field.
- Certification as a medical technologist under ASCP, NCA, or equivalent as defined under CLIA '88 regulations.
- Three years' experience as a department supervisor or manager.
- A significant understanding and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of different software programs.
