Experienced Estimator
Sonoran Doors designs and manufactures custom wood doors and distributes hardware for residential homes and commercial properties around the country.
We are currently seeking an Experienced Estimator to join our team in North Phoenix, Arizona. The position is responsible for successfully bidding potential door, hardware and trim projects with installation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare bid proposal & takeoffs as needed
- Resolve issues that develop regarding scope of work while bidding
- Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times etc.
- Obtain and review quotes by vendors
- Ensure estimates meet code & project specifications
Skills
- Proven experience as estimator or similar position
- Thoroughness and reliability
- Excellent organizational skillset
- Must be able to work independently, as well as with a team
- Knowledge of doors, frames & hardware
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications
- Strong computer skills
- Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience in estimating doors, cabinets or windows
- Bachelors Degree
