Duties
- Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions during examinations and procedures.
- Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) systems with detailed documentation of patient history, physical exams, and treatment plans.
- Assist healthcare providers in ensuring that all necessary medical documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate coding and billing practices are followed.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to enhance the quality of documentation.
- Support the healthcare team by preparing charts and ensuring all relevant information is available for patient visits.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential.
- Strong typing skills with the ability to transcribe information quickly and accurately.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Prior experience in a medical office or clinical setting is advantageous but not required.
- Rotation between our three practices is mandatory based on providers schedule.

Pay: From $14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
