Job Description / Summary :
Sonoran University of Health Sciences' Patient Services Representatives (PSRs) are positive first impression ambassadors and the front line in communication between Medical Center / Neil Riordan Center for Regenerative Health patients and physicians. PSRs support the clinical team by coordinating patient visits, scheduling, messaging, updating documents, processing payments and phone calls. They are responsible for establishing a positive experience for our patients.
The PSRs support Sonoran University's mission of providing high-quality healthcare and are directly responsible for :
- Exhibiting stellar customer service to both internal and external clients while scheduling, billing, following through with patient inquiries, and managing phone calls; supporting a consistent high quality patient experience and supporting a mission of focused growth in patient volume.
- Contributing to a team that promotes a positive and supportive work environment for all Sonoran University staff; as well as a positive, healing, and supportive environment for patients.
- Accurate data entry in the electronic health records system, medical file maintenance and other related documentation and communication, supporting an infrastructure of data-driven decisions and continuous improvement through advanced analytics.
- This position has several different working hours :
- Opening 7 : 30-4 : 00
- Mid 9 : 00-5 : 30
- Closing 11 : 00-close (usually 7 : 30)

Certifications Associates Degree, Medical Certification, or similar
Required Education High School Diploma / GED
Working Environment
Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extensive periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse. Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 25 pounds. Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities which may include and / or are subject to resolution of conflicts. Communicate to perform essential functions.
Background / Screening :
