Overview
Liberty Ramps is a Veteran owned aluminum wheel chair ramp company. We are a Rampit Ramp distributor with customers spread out across MI, OH, IN, IL and WI. We provide ramps for rent and purchase and sell both used and new ramps. We are seeking a self starter who can work independently or with a small team. You will manage your own hours and days based on demand and your schedule. We need a dedicated and hardworking wheelchair ramp assembly manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will wear many hats as we start out. Primary responsibilities will include aiding in the measuring and quoting of ramp purchases and rentals. disassembling of used and assembling of new ramps. Customer support for rentals, crew chief for small teams. physical stamina, attention to detail, proficiency with basic hand tools, provide a reliable truck and trailer for transporting inventory and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Visit work site for measurements and aiding in estimate creation
- Lead one and two person efforts to disassemble aluminum ramps that we purchase in your area.
- Store Inventory in designated location
- Assist in the pre-assembly of ramps being rented or purchased.
- Install wheelchair ramps being rented or purchased
- Travel as needed ( acceptable distances to be discussed)
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout the project.
- Adhere to all safety protocols on-site.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or relevant trades
- Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to the construction industry.
