Job Summary
The formulation and discovery group at SonoThera is seeking to hire a Research Associate / Senior Research Associate to become an integral part of the formulation development effort. We seek candidates who think critically and have the desire and ability to learn new techniques. This position requires adaptability and an ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will support research activities related to the development, validation, and application of analytical techniques to solve complex chemical problems. The RA will work closely with senior researchers to assist in experiments, data analysis, and laboratory management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or a related field with 4 years of experience, or a Master`s degree with 2 years of experience. .
- Experience in nanoparticle synthesis and characterization is highly desirable
- Industry based experience in the use of analytical techniques, such as DLS, HPLC, LCMS, UV-Vis, bioconjugation and nucleic acid characterization and other relevant methods.
- Work closely with manager and cross-functional team members on multiple projects collecting and analyzing data for each project individually.
- Assist in ordering supplies and reagents from internal inventory and external vendors to support the project needs.
- Data documentation in electronic notebook, along with writing technical reports are essential components of the job.
Compensation : The salary range for this position is $95,000.00 to $130,000.00 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including, without limitation, individual education, experience, tenure, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data, including potential adjustments for geographic location.
