HR Business Partner
Human Resources Business Partner
Purpose of role : This role provides strategic HR business partner consultancy and partnership to our Sonova WHS US business, enhancing the culture, providing support for leadership and employees on performance management, talent management, employee relations, development, policy and process as well as a broad range of HR responsibilities.

- Strategic HR business partner responsible for talent management inclusive of succession planning, professional development, active participation in and compliance with Sonova performance appraisal program objectives, providing guidance and training on process and value
- Provides coaching and candid performance feedback to members of the local leadership team as well as to other personnel in the organization
- Participates in recruitment process including interviews, events and other community processes
- Supports building and developing employer branding to further our talent acquisition strategies
- Employee Relations - ensures a positive culture and all employee issues are dealt with in a timely, supportive manner
- Drives local recognition programs, engagement activities and HearMe actions
- Supports HR and leadership team with communications, employee training and development
- Responsible for all off boarding including exit interviews, terminations and legal issues
- Works collaboratively with HR Shared Service Centre on payroll and benefit issues
- Actively pursues an awareness of new and emerging HR best practices and compliance requirements, and the potential application in our environment
- HR projects and other duties as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field, SPHR or Master's Degree in HR a bonus
- 5 years of progressive HR Business Partner experience, preferably in medical device or hearing health industry
- 3 years of HR Generalist experience
- High personal accountability, ability to issue spot and prioritize. Strong stamina, adaptability and flexibility
- Excellent relationship building, active listening, collaboration and influencing skills
- Able to work across all levels of the organization, team player and adept at offering and accepting feedback
- Able to manage stakeholder expectations and work with people from all across the organization
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Focused on results, business partnership mindset and high degree of professionalism
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to drive compliance and risk averse decisions
- Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality
- Ability to synthesize and analyze data and information
- Ability to lead and drive projects / initiatives proactively
- D&I mindset driving inclusivity and engagement through raising D&I awareness and culture shift
- Strategic Mindset
- Intermediate in Microsoft Office suite
- Success Factors, ADP Vantage experience preferred
