Paralegal (Remote or Hybrid)
The Legal Associate provides administrative and paralegal support to the legal team.
Responsibilities :
Paralegal - Litigation Support
- Work with outside law firms to update litigation / claims tracker
- Facilitate legal hold on AB products for litigation / claims
- Assist with obtaining signatures on settlement agreements
- Assist with preparation of internal documents for settlement payments
- Assist with obtaining required internal documents for discovery in litigation matters
- Other responsibilities as assigned from time to time
- Draft and send warranty letters to recipients
- Draft and send expense reimbursement letters to recipients
- Manage and update Recipient Care / Litigation tracker
- Review Recipient Care claims; work with legal to approve expense reimbursement claims
- Receive and review NDA requests
- Confirm corporate status and address as needed
- Send any outside NDA's to inhouse counsel for review
- Draft and send NDA to requested company; follow-up status of NDA with requestor
- Update NDA tracker as needed
- Other duties as assigned or required.
- Paralegal Certificate or 4 years of years of equivalent work experience without a Paralegal Certificate
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2 years of previous Paralegal experience in the above listed areas.
- Minimum of 2 years working in a corporate law department; litigation support experience
- Ability to work independently; ability to work with outside legal counsel and internal corporate functions. Ability to draft legal documents and correspondence. Understanding of litigation
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project timelines across departments
- Must be able to work with all levels of management and peers. Ability to maintain professionalism among peers and communicate effectively will all levels of the organization

This role's pay range is between $25.77 / hr - $ 38.65 / hr (based on location). This role is also bonus eligible.
