Cleaning Technician
- Strictly follow all CER quality and safety procedures to perform daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cleaning tasks, ensuring all cleanings are completed correctly, using only approved cleaning materials and techniques.
- Cleaning tasks include, but are not limited to: sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors, wiping of all designated surface areas, walls, doors and windows, vacuuming and wiping of office and other areas, emptying trash containers (regulated and general), resupplying of products in kitchen areas/cafeterias.
- Fill in cleaning/maintenance/environmental logs – may need to take readings from calibrated instruments.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Keep a safe working environment, high standards of cleanliness, be suitably attired, adhere to all gowning and Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
- Learn relevant company policies and operating procedures, and participate in ongoing training as required.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED
- >1 year of previous facilities/industrial cleaning experience
- Cleanroom/medical/controlled environment experience
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, lift, kneel and work in confined spaces, climb/work overhead (on ladders), reach with hands and arms-length and wear PPE.
- Lift weight up to 20 kg / 45 lbs;
- Good close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
- Please note that nail polish, acrylic nails, gel nails, makeup, perfume, fake lashes and dangling jewelry are NOT permitted in CER/A.
