Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of reliability analysis methods and tools.

1. Reliability Analyses:
o Perform in-depth reliability analyses on mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical devices.
o Conduct analyses such as Mean Time Between Unscheduled Removals (MTBUR), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Failure Mode, Effects, and Critical Analysis (FMECA).
o Gather and analyze data from customer paperwork, shop finding reports, and historical data to establish baseline reliability metrics.
o Compile and present findings in the format outlined per contracts to stakeholders.
o Complete ad hoc requests to support additional investigations by business or engineering teams.
2. Performance Monitoring:
o Monitor parts performance on a monthly basis for multiple engine platforms.
o Deliver 20 contractual reports to internal and external customers during the period of performance.
3. Program Development:
o Design and implement comprehensive reliability programs to evaluate and enhance the reliability of aerospace systems and components.
o Develop and maintain reliability databases and document results of reliability studies.
o Identify potential failure modes and develop preventative measures.
o Collaborate with design engineers to incorporate reliability requirements into product designs.
4. Risk Management:
o Conduct thorough risk assessments and prepare detailed risk management plans.
o Investigate reliability-related incidents and determine root causes.
o Perform life cycle cost analyses and recommend design or process changes to reduce costs.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to improve product reliability.
o Present reliability findings to management and customers in a clear and concise manner.
o Stay current with the latest reliability tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
