What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Associate position at SonoVision?
SonoVision is an established family-owned business located in Beaverton, OR which repairs and refurbishes ultrasound equipment. This position requires an organized, detail oriented, self-motivated person. The skills to research and problem solve will be a must. While this is an office assignment, a fair amount of bending, lifting, standing, and walking is necessary (approximately 70% desk/computer-based, 30% physical). As a small amount of daily driving is required, your vehicle needs to be large enough to accommodate packages (compensation is provided).
Receiving Associate
$20/hour
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Free medical within 30 days of hire and paid vacation after 90 days
Responsibilities:
- Accept packages from delivery drivers
- Analyze package labeling for purchase order information
- Locate corresponding receipts in inventory tracking system
- Investigate model number, serial number, and condition of each part
- Accurately log parts in tracking system and receive to correct locations
- Research and problem solve any issues in order to properly credit customers
- Ensure accurate data entry of specific pieces of information from various sources
- Send email reminders to clients for expected core exchange parts
- Daily gather outgoing packages from Asset Coordinator and transport to carrier facility
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid drivers license, current auto insurance, and a registered vehicle
- Must be able to complete all physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experienced computer literacy/skills (typing, GMail, internet, Windows products)
- Physical stamina to routinely lift packages of varying sizes and weights (up to 40 lbs)
- Capacity to climb stairs and lift arms above shoulder height
- Adequate vision to frequently view fine and small print
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
