Overview
The qualified candidate for this position will answer inbound telephone calls from members, providers, brokers/agents, and potential clients, provide information to members regarding dental benefits and provider network, provide eligibility information to provider network and coordinate emergency care (out-of-area and specialist referrals). Responsibilities
- Interact with other departments (or areas) to resolve patient and/or doctor inquiries
- Assist in training new Customer Service representatives
- Answer inbound telephone calls from members, providers, brokers/agents, and potential clients
- Provide information to members regarding dental benefits and provider network
- Provide eligibility information to provider network
- Coordinate emergency care (out-of-area and specialist referrals)
- Interact with other departments (or areas) to resolve patient and/or doctor inquiries
- Coordinate Language Assistance Program requests
- Clerical duties and/or projects as assigned

Qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of one year customer service experience in a Call Center environment
