Project Scheduler

Job description

SonRay Door and Trim is currently hiring a Project Scheduler in our Sacramento location. We are a growing company that is seeking quality people looking for a team oriented and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain schedule with install/reschedule and upcoming dates related to critical tasks by gathering information from emails, Supply Pro, or other vendor portals.
• Interact with builder to obtain release information on current and new projects.
• Interact with Field Managers to define scope of work for new projects to develop detailed schedules.
• Confirm work completion daily with field Superintendents and update the schedule.
• Review field timecards for accuracy.
• Update project management team with periodic status reports to keep management informed on project progress and changes.
• Monitor project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problems areas.
• Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action for schedules falling behind.

• Basic data entry and general math skills.
• Ability to navigate computer programs and usage of Google Office suite & Excel/Word proficiently is required.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred but will consider work experience in lieu of degree.
• 3 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably in a door shop.
• Scheduling experience and knowledge with Supply Pro a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
