Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to assess, plan, and implement therapeutic programs aimed at restoring and improving patients’ functional abilities and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and reassessments of gross motor skills, balance, coordination, endurance, and use of DME.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders.
- Guide and educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide training to caregivers and other personnel to support therapy goals.
Qualifications:
- Meets the Qualifications as established by APTA.
- Must hold a Associates degree in the field of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Texas.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
