Hiring Coordinator
(Part Time Hourly)
Job Brief
This position is responsible for the recruiting, evaluating and welcoming talented individuals to join Sonshine’s growing workforce. This position is a part time position with flexible hours, and accrued PTO. Located close to Dayton Mall and Sams Club.
Responsibilities

Recruit Employees who embrace the Sonshine Culture:
- Collaborate with managers to determine the needs and qualifications to fill positions.
- Post new jobs on job sites when needed
- Continually search for new avenues for recruitment
- Constant evaluation of recruiting processes and outcomes

Employee Selection
- Conduct phone screening of candidates
- Answer job inquiries and schedule interviews
- Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates for positions

Onboarding process:
- Conduct drug testing and process background checks
- Provide overview of process and policies
- Onboarding process checklist / complete all new hire paperwork
- Conduct training surveys with employees after their first week.
- Develop extensive knowledge of the Sonshine Handbook.
- Learn and actively contribute to Sonshine culture on a daily basis.
- Actively participate and contribute to weekly management meetings.
- Contribute to team effort by volunteering for tasks not listed.
Time Allocation
The effective time range for completing these functions will generally be during the normal business hours. Exceptions are not frequent.
Key performance objectives in order of priority with ideal time allocation are:
- Interviewing / review of candidates 30%
- Clerical Work and onboarding 30%
- Scheduling interviews 20%
- Staff meetings and collaboration 10%
- Job posting 10%
- Computer literacy (Google Suite/Drive)
- Efficient communication through email, text and verbal
- Constant evaluation and communication of recruiting outcomes and processes
- Positive response and action taken under pressure
- Detail oriented and organized
- Active listening skills (Perceptive)
Training and Education
- Bachelor's degree or Associates with business experience are preferred but not required
- Hiring experience preferred
