Job Description
- At least 2 years of experience in architecting website implementations using Sitecore CMS.
- Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience in Sitecore CMS projects (v6 and v7), Experience in version 8 is an advantage.
- Must have at least 7 years.NET project related experience.
- Data Infrastructure.
- Content Items.
- Presentation - specifically Web Controls.
- Placeholder framework.
- Rules framework.
- Binding content and presentation.
- Workflow engine.
- Platform administration and tuning.
- Experience in analyzing and resolving performance issues with Sitecore CMS.
- Specifically for Sitecore, Sitecore API, Kernel and Sitecore. Client libraries. Sitecore concepts including Layouts, Sub layouts, Templates, CM/CD environments, Sitecore caching, Serialization, Sitecore configuration, Sitecore deployment, Security etc.
- Experience with 3rd party tools such as Coveo, TDS, and SCORE are bonuses.
- Experience with MongoDB and GlassMapper is preferred.
- Understand business needs and convert business requirements into a design & ability to see through the modular issues.
- Ability to evaluate current state of architecture, platform and provide architectural recommendations to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Should have rich experience in data migration and working in a highly integrated enterprise application.
- Experienced in planning, estimation, delivery model, customer facing roles and effective client interaction skills.
- Strong communication and client facing skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of experience within the Information Technologies.
