Join Our Team as an Ammonia Technician!
Sonstegard Foods Company in Sonstegard, Arkansas is looking for an experienced and skilled Ammonia Technician to join our team. As an essential member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our facility's ammonia refrigeration system. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of our ammonia refrigeration system, as well as assisting with various other maintenance tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain the facility's ammonia refrigeration system in accordance with all safety regulations
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the system to ensure optimal performance
- Respond to and resolve any ammonia system emergencies in a timely and efficient manner
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed, including plumbing, electrical, and general facility maintenance
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience working with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
- Refrigeration Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
