Job Purpose
A Sonwil Account Executive is responsible for leveraging his/her knowledge of Sonwil’s services, industry trends and market conditions to identify, convert and grow third-party logistics (3PL) and transportation opportunities.
This role will organize and execute effective sales processes, cycles and strategies to continuously produce revenue generating business for Sonwil and build a diverse portfolio of accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Building Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and current customers to understand their needs and align Sonwil’s services.
- Service Knowledge: Possess a thorough understanding of Sonwil’s services, including transportation, logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, and value-added services, to effectively communicate the features, advantages, and benefits for Sonwil’s partners.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients highlighting the value proposition of Sonwil’s offerings and addressing any concerns.
- Negotiation and Closing Deals: Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements to maximize profitability while satisfying the needs of the customer and company. Close sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Rating Strategy: Participate in customer specific rating strategy to increase the revenue and volume share for each account
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities for growth and development within the third-party logistics (3PL) and transportation space.
- Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales calls, and deals closed within Sonwil’s customer relationship management (CRM) system. Provide regular reports on sales performance and forecasts to management.
- Customer Service: Provide ongoing support to customers, addressing any issues or concerns they may have post-sale to ensure satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, such as marketing, operations, and customer service, to coordinate efforts and ensure a seamless customer experience. Effectively communicate with all levels within the company.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on sales techniques and industry best practices through training programs, workshops, and self-study to continuously improve sales performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
- 1-2 years sales experience preferred
- Proficient in technology usage including expert level understanding of CRM
- Excellent written, verbal, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self motivated and accountable
- Ability to collaborate with other individuals and departments
- Firm grasp in services sold
- Onsite presence required
- Travel, as needed, to achieve duties, goals and responsibilities
