Job Purpose
The Accounting Generalist II is responsible for performing various accounting and financial functions for Sonwil enterprise. The duties include handling daily cash deposits, preparing financial reports, performing account audits, and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify and process transactions
- Record and analyze financial information
- Receive, process, and reconcile statements
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Handle daily bank deposits and entries
- Preparate journal entries
- Generate and review monthly reports
- Assist with preparation for audits
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures
- Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices
- Coordinate and implement department activities and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Associates degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred, but not required
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in an accounting environment
- Understanding of accounting principles and basic math skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to analyze data accurately and efficiently
- Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
