Responsibilities
Working alongside an experienced EDI Specialist, you will:
- Analyze customer needs, document requirements, and design technical solutions
- Collaborate with application developers, Operations teams and DBAs to design, develop, implement and support ETL processes using industry standards and best practices
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Onboard new and existing clients with ETL solutions using Cleo Integration Cloud
- Participate in meetings to ensure ETL solutions meet client needs
- Coordinate with Project Management to ensure success of ETL projects
- Track effort towards ETL projects
- Assist in the monitoring and troubleshooting of production EDI that experiences failure
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent, friendly communication skills, prioritizing customer service
- Self-driven and ability to hit project deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical area or equivalent hands-on experience/certifications.
- Must have the ability to work full time; must be able to work in an office environment; must be physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday, etc.
- Basic working knowledge of SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of ETL/EDI experience with translation software: Cleo Integration Cloud, Boomi Atmosphere, IBM Sterling Gentran, Informatica, SnapLogic, Talend, Alooma
- Experience with EDI mapping, trading partners
- Experience with and analyzing ANSI X12 4010 EDI transaction sets or EDIFACT
- Experience with XML, JavaScript and/or API integrations

Sonwil Technology Services Group (TSG) is the Information Technology Department for Sonwil Distribution Center located in Western NY. In addition to serving the technology needs of Sonwil Distribution, the Technology Services Group also services our sister companies including Transportation and Consolidation Services (Sonwil Logistics), our transportation brokerage company; Innovative Transportation (Sonwil Transportation), our asset-based trucking company; Sonwil Real Estate; as well as providing consulting services to other companies in the logistics arena.
TSG supports over a dozen commercial applications used throughout its customer base. Additionally, TSG has its own development group and supports an additional seven (7) platforms which were developed internally. These tools and systems span the gamut of functionality including warehouse, parcel, transportation and financial management systems, and security.
As a whole, we are a small to midsize company with more than 350 employees across multiple buildings in the Buffalo area, Georgia, Texas, and Nevada. Though growing, we still have that family-owned feel and are in fact, a 4th generation family-owned business.
