Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and endodontics. The Dentist will work collaboratively with our dental team to deliver exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional environment.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations to determine oral health status and treatment needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to dental extractions, fillings, root canals, and preventive care.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Epic.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license and ability to pass any required background checks.
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and treatment planning.
- Knowledge of endodontics and proficiency in performing complex dental procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic is advantageous.
