We welcome and encourage everyone who has a passion and curiosity for innovation, technology, and play to explore our open positions and join our growing global team.The PlayStation brand falls under Sony Interactive Entertainment, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony Corporation.Sr. Manager, Strategic Business DevelopmentThe Sr. Manager, Strategic Business Development, will be a member of the Global Entertainment Services (GES) team at Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) and help lead and drive global media partnerships and critical initiatives across the PlayStation platform.You will run existing relationships with large media services such as Netflix, Disney, and Amazon Prime Video and be responsible for driving deals and initiatives globally, as well as collaborating with the Regional teams.The manager will identify and execute global opportunities to drive revenue growth and engagement on PlayStation for media apps, including forging new partnerships and business models and coming up with compelling special offers and unique promotions for media services on PlayStation.The Sr. Manager will  oversee new third-party partnership deal opportunities from initiation, negotiation, closing and continued account management. Internally championing projects, developing financial models and strategic frameworks for deal analysis, and ensuring successful launches.Responsibilities : Identify and implement new partnerships with media companies to drive incremental revenue as well as improve overall consumer value proposition and user experience on PlayStationManage relationships with partners pre and post-closing of dealsWork optimally with other SIE internal groups and partners, including marketing, finance, legal, advertising, product and engineering.Craft business terms and take leadership role in deal negotiationsDevelop robust financial models for deal analysis to determine structure, support proposals, and influence negotiations for existing and new media servicesIdentify and research emerging market trends and develop strategic frameworksPresent business proposals and updates to partners up to the Executive levelDevelop and report on KPI’s relative to team and overall GES goalsQualifications : Bachelor's degree. Graduate degree a plus (MBA or JD)12 years of relevant experiencePrior experience within digital media, Internet, technology or gamingOutstanding relationship skills, including the ability to work with international teamsKnowledge of digital entertainment, including distribution models, platforms, content and servicesExcellent quantitative and analytical skills, including data analysis and financial modelingOutstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to author and deliver detailed presentationsStrong digital literacy#LI-SV1 Please refer to our Candidate Privacy Notice for more information about how we process your personal information, and your data protection rights.At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role is eligible for SIE’s top-tier benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k), paid time off, wellness program and coveted employee discounts for Sony products.
