A newly launched record label backed by Sony Music is opening a new office in Atlanta, GA, and we’re looking for talented professionals to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast-growing label at the heart of the music industry.
Now Hiring for Full-Time & Internship Positions:
- A&R Representatives – Identify and develop emerging talent
- Marketing & Branding Experts – Build artist brands and execute promotional strategies
- Administrative & Operations Staff – Support day-to-day business functions
- Experienced Music Executives – Help shape the label’s growth and artist development
- Interns – Gain hands-on experience in A&R, marketing, and label operations
What We’re Looking For:
Ideal candidates must have a strong ear for music and trends, with the ability to recognize potential hit songs and promising new artists. Networking and relationship-building skills are essential, as developing and maintaining strong industry connections can open doors to new talent and opportunities. A deep understanding of music genres and markets is crucial to identifying what resonates with different audiences.
Additionally, familiarity with contract and business knowledge, including record deals, publishing rights, royalties, and licensing, is key to navigating the industry. Strong marketing and branding skills are necessary to develop artists, strategize releases, and execute impactful promotional plans. In today’s digital age, an A&R must also have digital and social media awareness, understanding how platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Spotifyinfluence artist discovery and audience engagement.
Entry-level A&R professionals focus on scouting new talent, attending live shows, networking, and assisting in artist development, while senior A&R executives handle contract negotiations, oversee full artist development, manage budgets, and make high-level decisions for the label.
