This role will focus on providing recording engineering services, including scratch audio for animation projects. Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain all audio equipment for recording sessions.
- Set up and break down recording sessions for animation voice talent, ensuring optimal audio quality.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure the best quality of recordings.
- Manage and capture voiceover sessions, collaborating with directors and talent to achieve the desired performance.
- Ensure proper audio signal flow and troubleshoot any issues that arise during recording.
- Perform basic audio editing when needed to clean up recordings.
- Organize and label audio files for later use in post-production.
- Maintain a clean and organized recording environment.
- Work within tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Proven experience as a recording engineer.
- Strong technical knowledge of sound recording equipment, DAWs (Pro Tools, etc.), and audio file management.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently while taking direction and feedback from multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent audio quality.
- Flexible and adaptable to varying studio needs and workflows.
- Experience working in a studio environment.
- Familiarity with sound editing and mixing.
- Experience in creating custom audio setups for unique recording needs.
