Inventory/Kitting Clerk – 2nd Shift
Non-Exempt $16.00 - $16.50 plus differential
SoPark Corporation, a contract electronics service provider supplying OEMs with printed circuit boards and electromechanical assemblies, is looking for a self-motivated Inventory/Kitting Clerk to maintain the inventory area and supply production with materials to join our team.
Position Summary:
Supplies manufacturing with materials to assemble products; stocks/issues material; maintains records of quantity, part number, job requirements, and other related information by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creates and prints the daily work order picklist.
- Picks components required for the work order jobs.
- Restocks returned parts.
- Closes finished work orders.
- Identifies component shortages and completes proper documentation.
- Receives and stocks incoming materials per ISO procedures.
- Supplies miscellaneous shortages to production as necessary.
- Monitors and updates the Holding Shelf Log to complete jobs when possible.
- Monitors and updates the Shortage Log to complete work orders when possible.
- Enters data into the computer system as required.
- Cycle counts parts as required.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical school; six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of accountability
- Organizational skills
Physical Requirements/Essential Functions:
- Regularly required to sit/stand/walk for extended periods
- Have good hand dexterity and the ability to reach with hands/arms
- Specific vision abilities, including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds
