What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning Coach Sophia position at Sophia Learning, LLC?
The SOPHIA Learning Coach is responsible for the registration and support of Sophia students. This role also provides assistance to the academic team with course maintenance and continual improvement efforts. The Learning Coach is the first point of assistance for students encountering technical issues or in need of academic tutoring during a Sophia course. Key Skills & Qualifications: Ability to manage priorities Clear, open and effective communication style Ability to work alone or coordinate with others Educational or teaching experience preferred Prior sales or customer support experience preferred Ability to navigate in a fast paced, changing environment Bachelor’s Degree required Responsibilities Communicate the Sophia value proposition to prospective students Apply a consultative style to determine fit between student’s needs and Sophia course offerings/approach Staff a multi-channel contact center during designated hours of operation Effectively use phone, email and Live Chat technologies to communicate with students Manage student data to track progress and identify / intervene with “at risk” students Achieve goals set for course enrollments and course completion rates Master the Sophia learning platform and related student administrative functions Develop competence with third-party tools including Zoho CRM, ProctorU, Pearson SmarThinking and TurnitIn Partner with the Academic Team and Business Development to achieve company goals and objectives If you require a reasonable accommodation to complete our application process, please contact our Human Resources Department at Careers@strategiced.com.
