">The Sales Territory Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue within a designated territory. This individual will lead a team of sales representatives, develop business development plans, and ensure that each representative meets their sales targets.
The ideal candidate will have extensive building enclosure knowledge and personal selling experience, with a proven track record of exceeding budgets. They will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong leadership and coaching abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of sales representatives and develop business development plans.
- Ensure that each representative meets their sales targets.
- Plan and implement district sales and market strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and analyze market issues.
Requirements:
- Extensive building enclosure knowledge and personal selling experience of at least 5 years in the construction and building materials industry.
- Exceeded budget repeatedly in prior work experience.
- Capable of creating market demand (new name accounts) at the Architect, Contractor, and Building Owner levels.
- Knowledge of the competitive landscape for the assigned district.
- Understanding of manufacturing and distribution methods and systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good management/marketing judgement.
- Secondary education in business management.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
