Customer Service Specialist
The Customer Service Specialist (CSS) will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.
This position is responsible for the management of various customer requirements, to ensure that all clients, both internal and external, are fully satisfied and given impeccable service (from reception of their order to delivery). He or she must be sensitive to the needs of our customers at all times, and perform with the utmost professionalism.
The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives, to quickly and effectively ensure resolution
· Accurate and efficient data entry
· Manage large volume of customer calls
· Provide prompt response times to all customer requests in accordance with our order management policy
· Assist Sales Representatives and Regional Managers in satisfying customer needs
· Maintain broad knowledge of all company goals, products and services
· Report any situation requiring improvement to their Manager
· Other responsibilities as determined by the Customer Service Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
· Excellent organizational skills
· Experience with order entry using a ERP system
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer capabilities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Associates degree or equivalent
· 5 years experience in customer service with a proven track record
Working Conditions and/or Physical Demands:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
· This position necessitates work schedule flexibility and may involve working outside regular workday hours in order to fulfill company objectives.
Reports to the Customer Service Team Lead.
