Job Title: Electronics Technician

SUMMARY
Use schematics, drawings, and procedures to assemble, calibrate/test, and troubleshoot electronic products. Aid in implementation of new products to include production process and procedure changes, training, etc. Use of test equipment to troubleshoot and repair PCB assemblies to component level.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate degree in related field.
- Minimum 1-year relevant experience
- Soldering skills
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENTS
- Troubleshoot PCB assemblies and repair.
- Perform calibration/testing of all electronic products.
- Aid in implementation of all new products to include training other employees working with supervisor/manager to establish production procedures/process.
- Understand and follow all general procedures for department and procedures assigned to position.
- Use of automated test systems and pressure controllers.
- Use of testing equipment to include but not limited to o-scope, multimeter, Hy-pot, megger, and power supplies.
- Assemble all products with little to no supervision.
- All other functions/responsibilities assigned by the Manager.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must have good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electronics.
- Basic Math: ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide fractions, decimals, percentages, and ratios.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows based computer, Microsoft Office Suite software (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), knowledge of AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD systems).
