Job Summary :
Our operating unit provides underground utility services, and we are looking for a Materials Handler to join our team.
This position requires organization, timeliness, accuracy and great focus to detail and safety.
Job Responsibilities :
- Orders materials and tools as needed or as requested.
- Tracks inventory on all material and tools in the yard and shop (manually and in the computer).
- Loads and unloads trucks with a forklift.
- Assists in any other assigned tasks as required.
- Ability to operate a forklift and backhoe safely.
- Ability to effectively talk to employees, vendors, supervisors, customers, manufacturers, etc.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions when buying materials / parts / tools.
- Helping Manager with any other duties as needed.
