Hands-On Executive Housekeeper Position - New York
Our client is seeking a full-time, experienced Executive Housekeeper to oversee two properties : a residence in Manhattan and an upstate property approximately 1.5-2 hours north. This position requires someone who can split their time between the city and upstate, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and top-level organization. Candidates who have their own reliable transportation are preferred.
Responsibilities :
- Cleaning & Maintenance : Maintain cleanliness of both properties using non-toxic cleaning products, care for antiques, hardwood floors, and other delicate surfaces, develop and implement cleaning systems and strategies, and ensure high standards of hygiene and tidiness at all times.
- Hands-On Duties : Perform all housekeeping tasks personally, without assistance, establish a routine and manage time efficiently between both properties.
- Coordination : Communicate effectively with the family and any additional staff as needed.
- Personal Support : Provide personal support to the family and their guests when in residence, coordinate with vendors, and run errands as needed.
- Specialty Experience : Must have experience with high-end furnishings, fine art, and collectibles. Should fully understand how to care for all items in the home properly.
