Job Title : Lead Event Chef (100% Vegetarian Cuisine)
Location : Private Estate, San Juan Islands, WA
Dates : May 11-16, 2025 (Chef to arrive May 11; event runs May 13-16)
Overview
A private event at a secluded estate in the San Juan Islands is seeking an experienced Lead Chef to deliver exceptional, 100% vegetarian culinary experiences for a group of 20-25 guests. This is an opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in a well-equipped kitchen, supported by dedicated service staff. Housing included.
Note : There will also be a Sous Chef.
Responsibilities : Lead Chef
- Develop and execute a themed, vegetarian-forward menu tailored to guests' preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Oversee the preparation, presentation, and quality of all meals, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Coordinate with the Sous Chef and service staff to manage kitchen operations smoothly.
- Conduct a tasting in Seattle prior to the event (date to be scheduled).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health standards.
