Position Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic and energetic Estate Concierge to oversee the management and operations of a private residence in Miami, FL. This multifaceted role combines the sophistication of a trained butler with the agility of a skilled project manager, requiring high emotional intelligence and adept problem-solving abilities. The Estate Concierge will handle a range of responsibilities, from traditional butler duties such as opening packages, running errands, and managing household inventory, to packing and unpacking suitcases. They will consistently uphold the family's high standards throughout the home, skillfully balancing routine tasks with readiness to tackle such things as emergency preparations when needed.
A substantial portion of this role will involve organizing and managing household systems, with a keen eye for recognizing when things are out of order. The candidate will take on responsibility for clothing inventory management, tracking items across multiple residences, and ensuring everything is uploaded and tagged correctly by location. They will establish a system to manage these inventories, ensuring accurate tracking and organization.
The position also involves packing and unpacking for travel, ensuring smooth transitions between homes, and maintaining the household's cleanliness when cleaners are unavailable or time is tight.
The role demands robust maintenance management skills to coordinate timelines efficiently and manage service providers. Quick to address issues, the Estate Concierge will expertly source and orchestrate a wide array of professional services in Miami. Familiarity with tech-based tools like Asana is a plus. The ideal candidate will be committed to the highest standards of hospitality and organization while ensuring all interactions with the family and their guests are approached with grace, skill, and unwavering professionalism.
Job Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Household Management : Oversee daily operations with the precision of a butler, ensuring all aspects of the home are impeccably maintained. Duties include overseeing detailed cleaning, laundry care, and perfect table settings, as well as handling everything from opening packages to sophisticated guest interactions.
- Clothing Inventory Management : Develop and manage a system for tracking clothing items across residences. Ensure all items are properly uploaded, tagged, and organized by location, maintaining up-to-date records of all clothing inventories.
- Packing and Unpacking : Manage packing and unpacking for family travel, ensuring belongings are properly organized and transported between homes.
- Emergency Preparedness and Vendor Coordination : Maintain readiness for any household situation, from plumbing issues to unexpected maintenance needs. Source and coordinate local professional services to resolve issues seamlessly.
- Dynamic Service and Hospitality : Provide high-level hospitality, managing and executing all aspects of service from food and beverage duties to welcoming guests. Flexibility and a high energy level are key to adapting to the family's dynamic lifestyle.
- Tidying and Light Cleaning : Step in to tidy and maintain cleanliness when the timing or availability of cleaners does not align with the family's needs.
- Administrative and Operational Excellence : Collaborate with family office staff and other household employees to ensure seamless operation and communication. Manage schedules, oversee vendors, and ensure all tasks are executed with quality and attention to detail.
