Breakroom Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Breakroom Supervisor to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our new breakroom. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a high-end, service-focused environment, with a strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and customer service. This position will ensure the breakroom is always stocked, clean, and supervised to provide a positive experience for employees.

Job Summary

The Breakroom Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, cleanliness, and organization of the company breakroom. This role ensures the breakroom remains fully stocked, well-maintained, and provides a positive and welcoming environment for employees.

Essential Job Functions    

Supervision & Maintenance:
•    Clean, organize and maintain stock in the breakroom.
•    Supervise breakroom activity to ensure proper use and prevent misuse.
•    Conduct daily inspections of the breakroom, including tables, countertops, appliances, and floors.
•    Regularly clean and maintain the breakroom floors by sweeping, mopping, and spot cleaning as needed, utilizing floor cleaning machines when necessary to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
•    Monitor and clean the restrooms as needed, ensuring they are well-stocked and hygienic.

Stocking & Inventory Management:
•    Stocking & Inventory Management:
•    Prioritize and maintain safety as the primary goal
•    Other duties as assigned by management.
Vendor Coordination:
•    Collaborate with food vendor to manage daily deliveries and restocking of the food and drink market.
•    Coordinate with vendors to ensure that breakroom supplies are always available and on schedule.
Customer Service:
•    Provide a high level of customer service by responding to any legal breakroom-related requests from staff.
•    Address breakroom issues of concern promptly and professionally.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

•    Proven experience in a custodial or breakroom management role, preferably in a higher-end, detailed-oriented environment.
•    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•    Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant work environment.
•    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
•    Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and responsibilities.
•    Interprets instructions both written and oral. 
•    Works in a team with co-workers to resolve work issues.
•    Able to communicate effectively in English. 
Education and Experience    High School diploma or GED preferred. Previous work experience in manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare or environmental services environment preferred.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to periodically walk to other areas of the plant, must have good eyesight and hand dexterity, and must be able to identify and distinguish colors.

Work Environment:

Within safety guidelines, there will be exposure to noise, moving mechanical parts, oils/solvents, fumes, and odors that may affect the eyes, ears, nose, throat and/or skin.
