Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a hardworking, highly motivated individual to clean and maintain our shop office and warehouse. The ideal candidate should be experienced in a custodian role with an emphasis on building upkeep. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for tasks such as:
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors.
- Efficiently gather and dispose of trash to maintain a clean environment.
- Clean, sanitize, and replenish restroom facilities to ensure high standards of hygiene.
- Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring availability and proper stock levels.
- Report any repair needs or maintenance issues to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to the custodial duties and checklist provided by Sorinex to ensure all tasks are completed effectively.
- Support overall departmental and production needs as required, contributing to a well-maintained and efficient workspace.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
- Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
- Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day
- Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing
Required Experience:
- Custodian: 1 year
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch break
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
