Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a reliable individual with the ability to work in our powder coating department. This individual will be working Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch break. Familiarity with industry standard painting techniques and processes to apply powder coating is required. If this is something you are interested in, we welcome you to apply!
Description of the role:
As a Powder Coating Applicator you will be responsible for tasks such as:
- Apply powder coating evenly and accurately to achieve our desired coating results
- Maintain a safe and clean work area while adhering to all safety policies and guidelines
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on the spray guns, powder equipment and booths as required
- Clean spray booths and equipment daily
- Maintain strong attention to detail
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to noise, dust, heat, cold, airborne particles and moving mechanical parts and must always wear the proper PPE as required.
- Be capable of lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various conditions
- Assist with overall department activities and production needs as required
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
- Lift, carry, push and or pull 1 – 50 lbs. frequently.
- Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and
- outward frequently.
- Sit, stand, and walk for 1 – 10 hours per day.
- Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye
- protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing.
Required Experience:
- Powder Coating: 2 years
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch break
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
