Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, conscientious individual to work in our upholstery department. This individual will be working Mon-Fri; 8am-5pm. Familiarity with power and hand tools and measuring instruments is required. We will be offering on the job training. If this is something you are interested in, we welcome you to apply.
Description of the role:
As a Warehouse Upholstery Employee you will be responsible for tasks such as:
- Accurately measuring and verifying that parts meet required specs
- Safely operating glue adhesive instruments in a ventilated area
- Safely operating various power, pneumatic, and hand tools
- Maintaining foam, wood, and hardware inventory and notifying management of a shortage of supplies
- Documenting basic material, production, and quality control issues
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Being on your feet 8 hrs a day
- Being able to lift 20-50lbs daily
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Ability to measure values accurately
- Attention to detail
- Vast knowledge of various power, pneumatic, and hand tools
- Ability to safely operate pallet jack
- Ability to read blue prints
Physical Demands:
- Lift, carry, push and or pull 1 – 50 lbs. frequently.
- Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently.
- Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing.
Starting wage: $17/hr
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm w/ 1 hour lunch
