Overview:
As the Marketing Assistant to the Flagship Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting both the operational and marketing efforts at the store. This position involves assisting with event planning, merchandising, and executing marketing campaigns to enhance customer engagement and drive traffic to the flagship location. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth execution of store events and promotions, while also supporting visual merchandising efforts and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Support: Assist the Store Manager in planning and executing in-store and off-site events, promotions, and marketing campaigns to engage customers and boost sales. Help plan and assist in live shows, ensuring all elements align with the store's brand and marketing strategies.
Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the Store Manager, Marketing Manager, graphic designer, marketing team, vendors, and other company departments to ensure marketing initiatives and store operations are in sync. Act as a liaison between the store and external partners for promotional opportunities.
Graphic Design Requests & Merchandising: Coordinate and request all graphic design needs for marketing materials, including digital content, in-store signage, promotional flyers, and social media visuals. Ensure that marketing collateral aligns with brand standards and store goals.
Project & Event Management: Assist with the planning, preparation, execution, and evaluation of in-store and off-site events. Coordinate logistics, set-up, and event promotion while ensuring events run smoothly and meet marketing objectives. Support merchandising efforts by ensuring accurate pricing, signage, and promotional displays.
Community Engagement: Proactively seek out networking and community service opportunities to enhance the store’s visibility. Help identify offsite Pop-Up Shop opportunities to drive traffic to the flagship store, fostering relationships that increase customer engagement.
Analytical Support: Assist in collecting and analyzing data from marketing campaigns and in-store events to evaluate their effectiveness. Present insights that will guide future store and marketing strategies, collaborating with the Marketing Manager and graphic designer to optimize promotional efforts.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Must have a solid understanding of how to navigate the strongest customer social channels, particularly Facebook, per the core customer. This includes posting, event organization, responding to customer queries during Facebook Live shows, and processing sales.
· 1-3 years of retail experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
· Scheduling flexibility is required, with the ability to work during morning, evening, and weekend hours.
· Demonstrated competency in sales, products, and service.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) with the ability to quickly learn other software.
· Strong interpersonal skills and a proven relationship-builder. Ability to influence at all levels, as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and be assertive in driving successful management strategies.
· Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively listen to others and convey information verbally and in writing. Can present ideas and directions that lead others to action.
