Robotics Engineering Co-Op Internship

Job Description

Sorting Robotics Inc. is excited to offer a Robotics Engineering Internship for enthusiastic individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving field of robotics, specifically within the cannabis industry. This job is for a part time or full time Co-Op Role that will last 6 months.

Preferred: Must be comfortable with cannabis (preferred you enjoy it and have experienced it) as we manufacture robotic innovations for the legal cannabis market in the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the design, testing, and development of robotic systems
• Working closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and improve existing robotic technologies
• Participating in prototype assembly and integration
• Supporting data collection and analysis to refine robotic performance
• Documenting experiments, processes, and results to contribute to project reports
• Engaging in team meetings to discuss project updates and share insights

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing a degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of robotic systems and programming languages (Python, C , etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
  
  

Work Location: On-site

Work Hours: Flexible, part-time hours available

Benefits
