Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Tool Repair Technician to perform a variety of tasks associated with diagnosing, repairing, and resolving issues with CNC machine tools and other equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience using precision test equipment to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair intermediate mechanical and electrical problems.
Responsibilities:
- Level and align machines and other equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair major machine tool and equipment issues.
- Disassemble, repair, and rebuild equipment sub-assemblies and assemblies.
- Identify, repair, or replace damaged components.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and expenses.
- Perform some servo system tuning.
- Work with autoclave systems.
- Train employees and customers on CNC control operation and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic circuitry.
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Perform light facilities maintenance, such as electrical repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of machine tools and equipment terminology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in machine tool and equipment maintenance.
- Experience with autoclave systems.
- Associate degree in electronic engineering or related field (experience may substitute for education).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
- Ability to read and analyze mechanical assembly drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with parametric programming and ladder logic.
- Forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift certification.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of CNC controls and functions.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Education:
- High School diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $83,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year
