Job Position: Part Time Paraprofessionals

Location: Downingtown School District

Pay Rate: $21.96/hour

Shift: Monday through Friday 8:00am-3:30pm (shifts may vary)

Job Summary

Support student achievement and independence by working closely with teachers and educational professionals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Highly Qualified status via associate degree, 48 college credits, or PA Credential of Competency Certification (within 1 year)
• Experience working with children
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and technology skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (required)
• Ability to meet professional development and compliance requirements
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic, behavioral, and physical support to students
• Assist in developing instructional materials and adaptive strategies
• Support inclusion, independence, and socialization in school/community settings
• Collect and maintain student data for progress tracking
• Specialized assistance for students in Autistic Support, Emotional Support, and other programs
  
  

Level 2 Paraprofessionals May Also

• Assist with personal care, feeding, and toileting
• Support community-based instruction and vocational programs
• Perform physical interventions during crises (training provided)
