Job Summary
Support student achievement and independence by working closely with teachers and educational professionals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Highly Qualified status via associate degree, 48 college credits, or PA Credential of Competency Certification (within 1 year)
- Experience working with children
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and technology skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (required)
- Ability to meet professional development and compliance requirements
- Provide academic, behavioral, and physical support to students
- Assist in developing instructional materials and adaptive strategies
- Support inclusion, independence, and socialization in school/community settings
- Collect and maintain student data for progress tracking
- Specialized assistance for students in Autistic Support, Emotional Support, and other programs
- Assist with personal care, feeding, and toileting
- Support community-based instruction and vocational programs
- Perform physical interventions during crises (training provided)
