Key Responsibilities
- Assessments and Evaluations: Receive and manage referrals, conduct psychological assessments, and provide comprehensive evaluations of students’ needs.
- Intervention Planning: Develop and recommend appropriate intervention strategies, ensuring students receive tailored mental health and educational support.
- Collaboration: Work closely with school personnel, including teachers, administrators, and special education staff, to create and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and other support services.
- Student Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for students' mental health needs, promoting a supportive educational environment and liaising with families to engage them in their child's educational journey.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all psychological services are in compliance with district policies and Pennsylvania Special Education Standards, maintaining accurate records and reports as required.
- Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology (or equivalent), licensed in Pennsylvania.
- Experience in providing psychological services in a school setting, with strong knowledge of state and federal regulations for special education.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychological testing, evaluation, and intervention planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
Salary : $72,500 - $76,000
