At Sosuite, our mission is to transform how people live and travel. Sosuite provides beautiful, homey apartment suites for the modern resident. We operate several properties throughout Philadelphia and are seeking a dedicated and motivated Residential Porter to join our team.This is a full-time position, Friday through Tuesday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As a Residential Porter, you will support the upkeep of our buildings' shared spaces and provide occasional resident assistance as directed by management.Who we're looking for:
- A full-time Residential Porter working Friday–Tuesday, 9am–5pm
- Someone reliable, detail-oriented, and physically capable of handling a hands-on role
- Based in the greater Philadelphia area
- A team player with a positive attitude who takes pride in cleanliness and presentation
Compensation & Benefits:
- W-2 full-time position
- $17 per hour starting pay
- Overtime pay: 1.5x on Sosuite’s observed holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, MLK Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, entryways, and exterior walkways
- Operate the freight elevator during scheduled move-ins / move-outs and when requested by management
- Remove trash and cardboard from common areas and designated trash rooms
- Salt the courtyard and entryway during winter months to ensure resident safety
- Assist with basic resident requests such as carrying large packages or coordinating move-in activities, when directed by management
- Ensure all entryways and public-facing areas are tidy, presentable, and safe at all times
- Report any safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or misuse of shared spaces to management
Requirements:
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to walk stairs, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all seasons
- Ability to use mobile applications as needed for task tracking or communication
- Strong sense of responsibility and a helpful attitude
