The Clothing Processor is an essential role within the warehouse setting, responsible for the efficient handling and processing of apparel items. This position ensures that clothing products are prepared for delivery to retail locations, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Receiving and Sorting:
- Unload, unpack, and sort incoming shipments containing clothing items.
- Inspect garments for quality, checking for defects or damage.
- Tagging, Hanging, and Labeling:
- Attach price tags, barcodes, or RFID tags to garments as required.
- Ensure labels are clear, accurate, and correctly aligned with inventory systems.
- Folding and Packaging:
- Neatly fold clothing items according to company standards.
- Pack garments into boxes or onto racks for storage or shipment.
- Inventory Management:
- Update inventory records in the warehouse management system.
- Participate in regular stock counts and inventory audits.
Quality Control:
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all items meet company standards.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor.
Safety and Cleanliness:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is an advantage.
Skills:
