Analyst, LCC Trade Management
Role Overview
This position is responsible for delivering data-driven insights and analysis to understand the needs of the national sales organization. The role involves reviewing requests, gathering and manipulating data, and recommending strategic actions aligned with overarching national sales objectives. A key aspect of this role is leading the development of tools and enhancing existing processes. The individual will review and refine current methodologies and collaborate across teams to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Participate in initial discussions to clarify the scope of requests originating from the national sales team. Manage assigned requests, define necessary data inputs, collect relevant data for analysis, and verify the accuracy of findings.
- Analyze data and develop recommendations for assigned requests, creating clear deliverables to communicate findings and proposed actions to the national sales team.
- Generate ideas and build tools to improve the accessibility and usability of internal data resources. Collaborate cross-functionally to automate or refine existing processes, enhancing accuracy and efficiency. Develop innovative methods for analyzing data and presenting program recommendations.
- Support management in the analysis and implementation of strategies to improve the performance of new and existing programs.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for the team in gathering market intelligence and insights using available resources. Leverage market data to propose formula-based programs for relevant product categories.
- Engage regularly with product teams to deepen product knowledge, gain insights into costing to inform pricing strategy development, and identify optimal product selections for national sales customers.
- Participate in regular meetings with the national sales team to provide detailed reviews of proposed pricing strategies and discuss the sales pipeline.
- Assist leadership with new customer analysis and program development. Support senior analysts with complex, large-scale analyses and other ad-hoc requests.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quantitative analysis.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in distribution or the foodservice industry is advantageous.
Technical Skills & Abilities:
- Strong quantitative problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize insights from various data sources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to articulate independent thoughts and conclusions.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, data connections, macros, and automation).
- Experience with database reporting and familiarity with SQL, Tableau, or other relevant data analysis software is preferred.
Salary : $120,000 - $144,000
