A leading financial institution seeks a Data Science Senior Manager for its location in Irving, Texas.
Duties: Collaborate extensively with technology reference data, data science, infrastructure, support, cyber, and risk teams to develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning (ML) models in production reliably and efficiently using programming languages and tools such as Python, PyTorch, and Tensorflow for development, and containerization and model management platforms for productionizing and maintaining. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems of record, partnering with engineering teams to address any inconsistencies. Develop, implement, and support version control for code, data, and models. Maintain the ML pipeline for training and serving models, as well as model validation processes. Apply statistical validation techniques to deployed models and implement data and model drift monitoring. Establish and enforce quality controls and departmental standards to meet quality benchmarks, organizational expectations, and regulatory mandates. Proactively anticipate future needs related to personnel, technology, budget, and business within the department and develop solutions to address them. Organize and lead the successful completion of data insight projects through effective management of analysts and data professionals, and strong collaboration with stakeholders. Communicate findings and business impact of data insight initiatives to relevant parties within the organization. A flexible work arrangement, including telecommuting/hybrid options within a reasonable commuting distance of the worksite, may be available according to company guidelines.
Requirements:
- Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, and 3 years of experience in a data analysis, machine learning engineering, data science, consulting, or similar role within the financial services industry.
- In lieu of a Master’s degree, a Bachelor’s degree in the stated field with 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified roles will be considered.
- The 3 years of experience must include: machine learning engineering and operations; operations management; machine learning algorithms; deep learning; natural language processing (NLP) techniques for developing modern AI solutions; and proficiency in Python, Hive, PySpark, Keras, Tensorflow, and PyTorch.
Salary : $120,000 - $156,310
