What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Career Foundation Program position at SoTalent?
Early Career Finance Rotational Program
A leading aerospace and manufacturing company offers a comprehensive 2-year rotational program aimed at accelerating the careers of entry-level finance professionals. Successful applicants will join the program each summer at various company locations across the United States, including sites in Washington, Missouri, and Arizona. The program's structure involves an initial 12-month assignment at one of these primary locations, followed by two subsequent 6-month rotations at other U.S. production facilities. The company provides relocation assistance for these second-year rotations.
Through four distinct six-month assignments, participants will gain in-depth knowledge of the business while building valuable skills and expanding their professional network. These rotations are strategically designed to develop technical finance expertise and provide exposure to both commercial and corporate financial functions. Participants will gain an understanding of areas such as cash flow and cost management, market analysis, accounting principles, financial reporting, the interdependencies between products and aftermarket services, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
Initial placements for this program are available at major U.S. company locations, including sites in Missouri (e.g., Berkeley, Saint Charles, Hazelwood), Arizona (Mesa), and Washington (e.g., Tukwila, Everett, Renton, Seattle).
While some rotation assignments may offer the possibility of remote work, program participants are generally expected to relocate and work onsite at their assigned location, particularly for their initial placement, to foster strong working relationships with colleagues and teams.
This program requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which necessitates U.S. Citizenship.
