Role Summary:
Contribute to strategies focused on enhancing profitability, streamlining operations, reducing expenditures, and achieving overall organizational improvement. Collaborate with leadership to deliver financial and strategic outcomes through the application of advanced financial planning and analysis techniques. Assist in corporate-level financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities within the relevant department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and present reports, communicating key insights to leadership, including the creation of relevant performance metrics.
- Provide financial performance analysis and insights to the central financial planning and analysis team.
- Support the annual planning and budgeting processes for the specific business unit.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly business performance reviews.
- Conduct independent analytical projects and build financial models.
- Support the tracking and reporting of key transformation metrics, linking them to financial outcomes.
- Provide analytical support for significant investment evaluations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred, with a focus in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a corporate environment, with a strong emphasis on areas such as report generation, financial planning and analysis, business intelligence, and financial modeling.
- Experience with a major enterprise planning system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative analysis using appropriate analytical tools. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for report development and troubleshooting is essential; experience with VBA, data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), or other analytical platforms is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to independently structure and develop presentations and other professional documents for executive audiences.
