They are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to play a key role in their Systems Engineering Group, contributing to the successful completion of radio frequency (RF) communications projects. This role involves managing requirements and leading design efforts for new hardware products supporting national defense partners. The products developed support various domains, including land, sea, air, and space.
Ideal candidates possess extensive knowledge in all aspects of engineering, particularly in producing deployable hardware products. Experienced professionals and highly motivated individuals with a strong aptitude for learning are encouraged to apply. The role requires the ability to develop innovative solutions and lead engineering teams.
Typical teams consist of 5-10 engineers with diverse skill sets. This position involves direct interaction with clients, allowing for user feedback during the design process. Preferred technical backgrounds include experience with design improvements, reliability, maintainability, and supportability.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field, plus 12 years of experience; or Master's degree plus 10 years of experience; or PhD plus 7 years of experience.
- Recent experience in RF product design.
- Experience leading technical teams.
- US citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a high-level national security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active high-level national security clearance.
- Experience as a team lead or in a leadership role.
- Experience integrating antenna, RF subsystems, and processing hardware/software.
- RF modeling, simulation, and analysis.
- Proficiency in MATLAB.
