What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Architecture position at Soteriare?
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Architect to join Asset Management Technology’s Architecture group supporting our Strategic Advisors business. The candidate should possess a deep technical background in developing and deploying web services, web applications, messaging and streaming producer / consumer services, and designing and implementing highly scalable, low-latency complex systems.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with teams to design and develop applications for portfolio construction, trading, and operations.
- Architect and own the implementation of robust, highly scalable solutions, to ensure flawless integration, resiliency, and efficient processing.
- Drive innovation and adopt technologies to improve system architecture and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting good practices and maintaining code quality standards.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Work closely with IT product owners and business users to understand their needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct hands-on POCs and provide proven migration paths for product teams to advance our roadmap.

You will be a member of the Asset Management Architecture team that provides the architecture direction, decisions, and solutions for Asset Management. Throughout the implementation of the proposed solutions, you will work closely with the product and engineering teams for the Technology Foundations and other technology teams. You will collaborate with others in Asset Management innovative solutions and strategies.
